They are looking for a well-rounded Mining Engineer to be the Manager of Technical Services for one of their producing open pit mines. The mine is currently on track for producing over 1.6 million tons of production. Position Summary As the Manager of Technical Services main objective is to achieve overall annual mine site production objectives and targets by: Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of all Technical Services sections (Production Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, Environmental Coordinator, Senior Mine Engineer and Chief of Engineering and Geology) personnel to optimize utilization of resources and deliver on the annual mine site targets and objectives. Provide support for short, medium and long term operation of open pit mines and ensure all of the mining activities carried out by Technical Services Department's team members must keep the goals of the Mine site while keeping the budget in mind.
