They are looking for a well rounded Mine Foreman with a heavy duty mobile mining equipment experience. This unique opportunity will be challenging as it?s a mountain top operation.
Job overview The Mine Foreman?s primary purpose is to supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of all mine operations personnel to optimize utilization of resources and achieve overall mine operations production objectives.
Maintain a high-level of Health and Safety performance through outstanding communication, monitoring and revision of standard work procedures.
Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace.
Attend and participate in all scheduled health and safety meetings and training.
Supervise, train, and develop load and haul crew members as required.
Qualification: Valid BC shift boss Certificate / Leadership Competencies Required
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written correspondence abilities, including expertise to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy and sincerity.
A positive attitude and customer focused approach
